Trying out the new Camera's

Some of you may know my trusty ole Kodak point and shoot finally crapped out on me. I had been wanting a DSLR manual focus camera for a while. My wife liked the point and shoot so she ended up getting a Sony Cyber-shot, I got a Olympus Evolt-500 DSLR
I'll be posting to seperate sets of pics. See if you can tell the difference in a $89 camera and one that originally sold for close to $1000 ( I didn't pay that! but that's what it would have been new. I bought it used for quite a bit less but still not a cheap camera)

Well the second group the colors are more vivid, and the pic seems sharper. esp that lily in the first group, seems out of focus or something.

The 3rd picture in the first set looks very clear and the 2nd set of pics all looks very nice and clear.
The last pic in the first set looks kinda foggy. The background in the 1st set 2nd pic looks blurry on the rt side.
I think for sure the 2nd set is the best.
