I have 16gallons pot in which I have dwarf water lily, water lettuce , 3bloodfin tetra,6glowfish . I need suggestion about care and food (is it okay if i feed them ant ,they seem to love em)
Idk why not vishu. Fish in nature eat bugs and veggitation. I would be sure to supplement with a good fish food tho to be sure they are getting everything they need nutrition wise
BTW welcome vishu! welcome the our forum family! We love pictures. If you would like to post some we would love to see them
Welcome! Give it a try! If they go for the ants and consume them, then would think it would be OK. But like Fishylove said, supplement with a quality food!
Oh, and most important, be sure whatever you feed them (live critters) hasn't been exposed to pesticides or other harmful chemicals. In other words, if you spray or treat for insect pests, don't use ants from your garden.
its not that gud n we don't use fertilizers n pesticides . we have a lot of worker ants . i just thought of dropping one and the fishes loved it . i occasionally give them ants . their regular diet is freeze dried bloodworms . sometimes I feed mosquito larvae or dead mosquitoes . they eat them happily . one day a moth fell in there and when i took it out , all its legs were gone and had only half its wings . suggest me some fishes that go well with them
