Water Lilly

So I have a water Lilly and for the past few days it's been opening and closing during sunrise and sunset but today it's like 10am but it's still not opened. All help is appreciated

Water lilies bloom for about 3 days and then the flower is done. Hopefully there are more buds coming up.

When the blooms are spent, they will stop opening and the stem will begin to coil down like a spring, pulling the old blossom down under the water. If you can reach in and pinch the stem off at the base, it helps prevent excess decomposing plant matter and might even encourage more blooms. But I don't think it's necessary!

'only last 3 days'; the single biggest reason to have lots of lilies; better get to it!

As stated, these flowers do not last long enough. I wish they lasted much longer. Make sure you enjoy them while they're there. I hate when they bloom on a weekday and I miss them because of work.

I hate when they bloom and I get home late afternoon and they're already half closed!
