We are new to ponds

Hi, we are very new to ponds, aquatic plants and fish. Our pond was built November 2016 by a pro ...my husband and I did the planting this spring and we added a few gold fish. We live in Zone 3 in Canada (Southern Alberta). Looking forward to learning from all you experts.....as we do have some issues right now.

Thanks....our main issue is with algae so we will post on that thread & also on UV clarifiers.

We are south of Calgary and 45 minutes north west of Lethbridge....some nursery people have told us we are also zone 4......this year not sure.....we have had 21 days in July tempertures of 30 degrees Celcius and over ...up to 37......this is not normal for us.
