88 and humid today, unpleasant. better once the clouds covered the sun.

Meanwhile, here is a day in the life of my cat:

10:39 PM @ 83 degrees. Hot nights. Hotter days. Got to 97 today. 100's coming. Geeze!

Got up to 96 yesterday and 90's for today with rain predicted for tomorrow. Will we get it? Depends on if I finish the repaired pond. Got the 10x15 liner put in yesterday but had to quit working by 11am as the sun was out and that liner got HOT. It' installed over the old liner so if I don't get the edges secure the rain will get under the new liner. Maybe I should leave it so we get rain. What do you think?

well supposed to be 95 today and still no rain and 1 deck almost done patching and staining and the other deck patched and have to replace 2- 4x4's that warped next and build new railings for that deck .So have to measure and cut and predrill the new ones but hubby has to go to the doctors and to get blood work done ,so guessing not much else will get done .I still have 2 more porches to do and restain the front porch .It just never ends .Would not mind a rain delay .

send the rain my way .I need a rest .Hubby went to doctor and bought 4 more gallons of olympic stain to restain the guest house and that deck and may build a cover over the front deck of it .Darn looked at pic and realized I will have to do the carport also

well the storm hit high winds and heavy rain .Started and I got soaked .Now stopped lasted a whole 10 minutes
