What plant is this and is it dying?

Type of pondweed perhaps? https://www.minnesotawildflowers.info/aquatic/long-leaved-pondweed
Looks like it has some life but perhaps struggling. How long have you had it? New purchase or collection?

Hard to say with some common names. At least a few different species are called Water Grass.

If that plant is prikly on the stgm similar to very course sand paper. It maybe what we call minute weed. put it in a plastic bag. Then into a one gallon container sealed. Then into a two gallon and then that goes in a three gallon. And so on till it's in a five gallon. Then take it for a ride and bury it in the neighboring states landfill.

They also get blue berries can be a pretty plant but it can take over that's why it's called minute weed it grows that fast and once you got it it's unbelievable hard to iredicate it.
