What plants to start with on my new pond

I just started up a pond and would like to know what are good plants to start with.My pond gets about 4 hours sunlight a day.

Some Water Lettuce or Hyacinth is a good start.

ditto to what DrD said. They are easy to grow and allow for good coverage. Lowes/Home Depot sell hardy lilies too!
