Which size hose?

Hi have recently bought a second hand Laguna powerflo filter falls 5000. Does anyone know what size hose I need to connect it to my pump? Also I need a tap to drain off the waste. Any ideas gratefully received

Most manufacturers include this information in the product description Laguna apparently doesn't.
You will need to measure the ID of the inflow on the filter unit.

I spent almost an hour searching for this. None of the sites I visited gave the hose size. Guess I didn't look long enough. Couldn't imagine Laguna not indicating the hose size somewhere!

But, that be it...... 1 1/2".

Thanks for your help. I looked everywhere too, you would think that they would have the hose size in the specifications wouldn't you.
