I added a whiskey barrel bog to my very small pond. (Converted plastic kiddie pool). Pond is crystal clear. It has a waterfall out the front of the barrel. I used a medium sized pump, a circle of Pex pipe with small holes drilled in it, and pea gravel. We decided the waterfall didn’t flow enough so I added another medium sized pump and took another Pex pipe and laid it in the back of the bog so it just shoots water over the pea gravel without any resistance. Was running great but eventually the flow began to slow down. Used a compressor and hose and blew both of the Pex hoses out. Flow was great again. Now it’s back to a slower flow. What did I do wrong so I won’t do it for the next bog?
