wifi IP cameras needing no dvr,nvr

This is the latest style no wires no dvr, nvr, the info is stored in the camera. Anyone use these? Problem I find is much of the selection for cameras in any format does not take win 8.1.

I had one a few years back, they are probably better now. The picture was jerky, not sharp. If that has improved it did work
