Thanks! We are really happy with it. If all goes well with planning/research I hope to get it done next spring/summer. I’m sure I’ll be asking a lot of questions here for it.Very nice start. I especially like your large rock design/placement, looks great. The koi can outgrow that pond fast so consider starting on your larger pond soon.
Thanks. And yeah will not be their home for long, planning a very big pond in backyard. But should be fine for a little while. It’s 3ft deep and I have these 3 caves that go back 1.5-2ft deep. Hard to tell from pics but I positioned the boulders so they have plenty of space to hide.nice job , That's not a pond for koi, unless you keep them a year maybe two then bring them back to the pet store
This is the area for it, I want to build something the kids can swim in with a couple waterfalls from the hill coming down. And a big wetland/bog for filtration on top of that hill feeding the waterfall. Would also love to do a zero edge that turns into a stream running around the outside of our back patio. Pricing everything out at the moment for it.How big a pond are you thinking and what type of filter are you leaning toward
