Yes well I witnessed it plus I know all my females are only goldfish fancies and I only have one koi and he is definitely a male. And some of the black babies have believe it or not a yellowish Gold Head. Some appear to be Comet goldfish like and some appear 2B Butterfly Koi type. My question is do you think they're eating the frog eggs or maybe it's the waters just not warm enough yet it is in the shade. The babies are only about 1 to 3 in Long. I hear other people getting frog eggs and tadpoles in the ponds even with fish in there. So it's probably the water temp thing just looking for your opinions thanks
That would explain the large size for its age of one and fin shape.
