Well I finally invested in a nice new expensive phone and it is one of the blow up phones, i.e. note 7, I decided to test its ability to film under water, since I have to return it.
I have a loaner coming until they can fix the issue.

Yesterday I stuck it under water and did some filming, here are some short videos of my fishies!
It does take some pretty pictures.

These are the big pond fish.

This is the 1000 gallon tank, it is covered with parrots feather, the fish stir up the debris when they swim through the roots

Then I took a few pictures from the surface, they turned out decent also.

Thanks they are pretty! Even the fry have great colors. I love the mix. There is one that is spotted like a Dalmatian. Just white and blueish black colors.

Beautiful fish and beautiful pictures! I wonder if that one w/ the black tips will stay like that?

Wow, that's pretty cool! I've thought about getting a waterproof phone case. My little Nikon is water proof -- I could use that. Problem is.....I don't trust the competence of the user in either situation.

The phone is water proof, they say up to 30 minutes. So I tested esp since I have to send it back. Right now only charging if it is off and on concrete in case mine blows up also. Keeping it cool being on concrete and turned off

I need a selfie stick.......lol............it is hard to hold the phone under water leaning over balanced on rocks. Esp the big pond the fish were all hanging out near the hornwort in the 5 foot deep area. I kept hitting something that would pause, change to pics, back out etc as I was trying to film. You are just seeing the successful ones lol.

The black tips have been there for years, so they most likely are staying that way. The gold one will most likely end up all gold It is a common comet. I do like its looks but not holding breath it will stay that way.

Nice fish Foxy. The black, most likely, will disappear. The comets go through all stages of black and gold before they are finally all gold But some do hang on to some black.

I have a waterproof camera but too much effort to get onto pc then to my phone. Would like to invest in a waterproof case for mine though.
