Adding 2nd pump to save electricity

you just go to a pet store or anywhere they sell aquarium supplies, buy a aeration pump some hose and a couple of air stones, its not a special biofilter air pump its just a cheap aerator for aquarims, i think it was $8.00 hose and stones and tee connector another, maybe $10.00. run the hose to the bottum of the filter,tee it off and connect your stones. place them evenly apart, let the bubbles rise up thru your filter media. the more oxygen the better.

It might be time to find a new low watt pump :eek2:
My laguna 4200 160 watt at your high elec rate would only be 48 bucks 24/7
