It's been awhile since I've been on but just wanted to let you know I'm still around and slowly working on my pond since I had open heart surgery May 1st. The babies are getting big and I have LOTS of them to boot! I have a very prolific group of adults! The other half and my youngest son have basically been caring for the pond all summer via my instructions lol and they are glad I'm way better too and are learning a lot about ponding. I know it wont be long and we will have to get the babies out for the winter and into their winter home in the large aquarium inside, as I dont think it will work out so well having so many fish in my 2000 gal pond all winter here in nebraska.

Good to hear you are getting better w/each day and your fish and pond look great. Glad you had help in caring for them. Boy you must have a big aquarium indoors for all those fish!

I have a 70 gallon aquarium and for the babies it should work throughout the winter. I do have a couple ppl who want some baby fish so that will help too. And thanks, this was not how I had planned on spending this summer, as I had so many things I needed/wanted to accomplish...but I guess staying alive topped the list.

Ha Ha yes staying alive will bring you many more years to do all that you want to for many Summers to come. Glad you made the right choice :)

Best wishes to you for a continued recovery! That's a BIG event in your life! Glad all is going good and that you have such good helpers! You can go sit out by your pond and just enjoy it -- soothing, and healing......
