bakki showers

can anyone give me a rough idea how long a bakki shower with BHM might take to take to 'get going' once installed. ?
I know a lot depends on the actual pond situation, just looking for a rough idea

Some claim that a Bakki will cycle in two weeks but my experience is closer to 4-5 weeks. later..Gary

I watched a lot of videos on you tube about them and most of them said 2 to 3 weeks and they seem to all use a combo's of media from lava rock to pea gravel and combo's of stuff .I have something similar in one of my totes and I used just lava rock but at a faster flow to come out as a waterfall .I could not get it to work with a slower and smaller hose .It was not enough water coming out .Some seem to love them but all that stacking of layers of media I could not do .No way to hide it
