There are actually 3 additional receptacles scattered about. People can be slobs.

Very nice. Thanks for sharing. I have an acre lot and the imagination to do something like this. All i need to do is win the lottery so I can afford it.

Yes. Projects of this size can get pricey. In my area rock is quite expensive as Florida really has no native rock. Over 60 tons of boulders and cobbles were used in the construction of my pond.....most expensive part of the project.

So are the additional tanks/ponds in the yard for sale fish?

The tanks on the right hand side of the photos are for aquatic plants and the tanks on the left are for fish; the two smaller ones for Goldfish and the two larger ones for Koi.

    3 questions.....
How many pumps do you have?
How many GPH are you pumping?
and what sort of filters do you utilize?

I gather you are asking about the pond.
Two (2) pumps in two Skimmers...10,000 gph total flow rate.....2 large biofalls filters, ~100 cubic feet of wetlands filtration, ~100 feet of stream, 4 settling pools, ~120 cubic feet of passive earthen filtration.

    More questions:
    1. Is the wetland filtration similar to the bogs people are talking about?
    2. What is the passive earthen filtration?
    3. Could you describe your bio falls filters.
    Thanks.

    1. Yes.
    2. In the last series of photos, it is the area in the middle left of Photo #1. This is a lined area directly connected to the main pond basin. It does not have any active water flow so water movement is extremely slow in this area. This was added mainly to provide some level of denitrification.
    3. Aquascape Biofalls.

I think he would be proud to look down from his new pond in heaven to see how much he was liked (or loved )on the forum .

Thanks @BarbO I never came across this thread before. Magnificent. You can easily seen it was planned and built by a master.

I think the new owners of his property took it all out.

How sad but it does happen when owners just don't want the work or hassle .His bridge was why I built my bridge
