Used pond keeper uk store bought pond expert 12000 filter box with built in uv ordered new bulb new bulbs don’t fit they tried one in there’s it also was loose after telling me they would ring me back about problem I had to ring them again and was told they would refund money. As they had no solution which I told them that left me with useless filter box with built in uv to that they replied sorry they are still selling this filter

UV light kills single celled free floating algae in the water. You don't have to use it if you don't want to. I have UV lights on my filtration system, but they aren't used.
