Cute pond :)

When I had the smaller preform pond (it was only 18" deep and not big enough to leave fish in all year through the winter) I used to bring the fish indoors and keep them in a rubbermaid stock tank (125 gallons) in my utility room. It was kind of a pain actually setting them up but once they were in the house I got to enjoy them all season rather than "put them to bed" for the winter.

I would say you could get away with a 150 gallon stock tank (of course you want to keep up with water changes and keep on top of any ammonia or nitrite spikes if the filter you are planning to use isn't already matured)

Good luck and keep us posted!

I use a pressurized filter in my basement stock tank in the winter and I just use a long hose and pull water from the pond with a pump .I try to not leave baby fish in the pond over winter .Seems like when the tank is in the basement I never see algae on any problems but I back flush filter every 4 days and add fresh well water to the tank and yep like said test the water often .I keep an LED light on all the time and over winter some of my plants in the tank and I have a small aerator fora fish tank going also .I loved going down there to feed the baby fish .Made me fill calm here the water gurgling
