Hi,
I just joined as i'm new to ponds. Looks like a nice web site.

I installed my pond last year and covered it to keep leaves out. I found a dead mole which I just removed.

the question is, Do I have to empty the whole pond out? Is the water ok? it's still very cold here in Manitoba. the mole was not bloated at all.
I'm only planing on putting some goldfish in for the grandkids.

regards, Mark

Just pull him out and give him a nice burial. I found one in my skimmer - poor guy! No worries for your pond!
