+JOIN ME IN A BIRTHDAY CUP OF MORNING JOE, :goldfish: So I decided the best place to celebrate is by the pond.Where all life started from.
I tried a new tech this year.I decided to run a pump along the waters surface against the {heater} and North wind.PERFECT my lilltle experiment is working, keeping the surface open even on 20 minus days, which yes we get and will get in a few more days.
I did what Addy1 suggested and added a liner on the water fall egde for protection,THEY LOVE IT. I just draped it over the rocks, and boom it works well.I did that back in the summer.Thank you sweettie!!!!!!
Any case THANK YOU ALL FOR STOPPING BY.I need another cup of joe.

Happy Birthday! Glad your hanging liner is working for you. I floated a piece of liner, again, my lil fishes are hanging out under it, they love the way the water warms some, the sun on the black liner. The plants are growing nicely in that area too. Healthy parrots feather, penny wort all nice and green. We have not frozen hard, off and on hard freezes, the plants elsewhere are dormant.
Big hug! diggins!

Yeh i guess if you have a floating plant ring and plants die off you could put a piece of liner over it and it will keep it floating real nice .

I just have a piece of liner floating, no plant ring or anything. My liner floats nicely. The piece is around 5x5 feet or so.
