First frog

Congrats on your frog. My wife could care less about the fish but loves it when we have frogs. I'm guessing the British named the frog before they started exploring the world looking for new species so it was given a simple name. We have had an English garden spider in our yard and it is anything but normal looking!

I presume you've not met many English folk? We too are often 'anything but normal looking'.

Very nice! I had a couple of bullfrog tadpoles morph this summer and now they scare the heck out of me when I check on the pond at night: "bloop" "bloop" from dark areas of the pond
