Doc. I kinda saw that while searching through the threads. Members were talking down on manicured lawns and doing away with lawn altogether and planting wild flowers. I didnt see any theads about useful chemicals to create beautiful lawns....honestly it's no loss not being able to belong to the Garden Forum. There didnt't seem to be too many serious posts about professional gardening and lawn care. For an administrator to ban me on the mere suspicion of being a spammer which obviously isnt't true makes me not want to belong to that forum anyway. Its a shame too because my hobbies are ponding and gardening but Ill join another garden forum where people arent persecuted on mere suspicion.

DrCase, Milorganite isn't chemical. They make it from the sludge at the sewage treatment plant here in Milwaukee so it is made from poo..

I think the Doc knows that as well as I do but not sure the weed loving garden forum members knew that...

Pretty amusing..I joined the Garden Forum and on my first post they banned me. I posted my current lawn maintenance and mentioned a fertilizer I like very much called Milorganite because its organic and safe for pets and the environment. A member accused me of being a "shill" for the company and the Administrator banned me because they labled me a spammer...Tough crowd over there. I guess you can't mention any products by name that you like or they accuse you of working for the company. In the United States you are innocent until proven guilty. In the Garden Forum you are guilty without an explanation and hung on suspicion. Too funny...

WHOOPS sorry about that @Jersey_Marine!! Wasn't me, it was a different moderator. We've had a succession of spam recently, and are often immediately of any new member who starts promoting a product... obviously I know you are not a spammer, but I wasn't logged in last night. So I just wanted to say sorry for the less than friendly reception and I hope it hasn't put you off the site!

Something's not adding up.
Becky and Ian also own this forum, and when there has been something advertised here, it usually takes a while for any action to be taken.
Rogue administrator or more to this story.;)

Since Becky replied you now have your answer and it wasn't your latter suspicion...

Just out of curiosity I did a search for "milorganite," and came up with this post from April. They even included the web site in their post. @Jersey_Marine there must have been more going on with your post than simply your posting a product name, for them to completely ban you and remove you from the forum.....did you use inappropriate language, or something along those lines?

How about you....Did Becky cure your suspicion with her post?
