Sooooo I finally bought a GH KH test because Charles is always on about them. I did them, here are my results:

KH 9 to 10 drops
GH - FREAKY - 38 drops!!! What the ...... what does that mean besides I have CRAZY hardy water???

Any suggestions as to what to do here? Anything?

The high GH can mean absolutely anything since it is simply testing minerals in a very generic method. My guess is your water is simply high in minerals and there is no way of knowing which minerals unless different tests are used.

No need to do anything.

There are some koi connoisseurs that suggest the high GH water brings upon different appearances to your fish, but, as far as I am aware, there is nothing health wise to be worried about.

You simply have quite hard water, which personally I view as a good thing since there is a good chance a quite nice level of calcium is in the water.

No worries. :)
