I have pond envy! And a serious envy of the big bog too. A plant you can but at Wal-Mart is mint, any kind, live plant, just rinse the roots off and plug it in. I've got a big patch booming where our well seeps, and it loves it. Started last year with just a few sprigs, this year it covers 3'x3' easy, with runners looking to spread all the time. It can take over, so if you do plant some, be ready to fight it back or remove it later on when you have other plants to full the bog.
