Hi all,

I just registered here to get some advice as Im pretty much a newbie.

The pond Im looking after, I inherited, its a very old 50m^3 natural pond with about a dozen Koi's and some other fish. Filtration is done by plants mostly, there is a 10m^2 marsh with irisses and some other plants. To be honest, its a bit of a mess, the water is anything but clear.

Oh, perhaps I should also add Im from Belgium, you now, Brussels and all that :)

Cheers!

The plants actually stay well planted, the roots grab that pea gravel and are actually hard to remove! I put in a lot of the plants right before cold hit and they have made a lot of roots over winter, now all are starting to green up.
