This forum was a wonderful help to me as we constructed our pond this summer. There are still a lot of plantings and landscaping to do, but now it's time to sit in the swing, drinking a glass of wine and enjoying the view.

Thanks for the welcomes! I have 13 fish (shubunkins and goldfish). I'll be posting a question about winterizing when I get home from my trip to NC. I'm sure I will get some great advice!

That's the bog on top. My husband put the steps for easy access to the bog and the terraced beds on the south side.

Buckshot is pretty sure that's going to be his spot. He can see the driveway, house, and shop from there. Kind of Command Center.
