that was the first year for them and each year they will get bigger as the bulb gets bigger .I lost almost all of my elephant ears the 2010 winter .Even lost my cannas and my banana tree

Sissy you are lucky, here in my area we don't get the humidity those ears need, and the winter here is just cold dry air... bad for those tropical ears. :grumble:

I would have thought they would grow better for you .We do not get a lot of humidity here and we can get really hot and dry .I just put lots of mulch down around the bottom to hold moisture and right now I have over 50 elephant ears all over my property .
