My name is Robbie and I live on the southeast coast of Georgia. I have kept fresh and saltwater fish for many years but I'm new to pond keeping. I started with a preformed 270 gal pond which I kept for 3 years before digging and placing a flexible liner in last spring. I had 5 koi but over the summer they had babies. I have several Chinese Sailfin suckers (Myxocyprinus asiaticus) in the pond as well. I hope to add Golden Tenches someday if I can find them here in the US.

Sailfins grow large and look completely different as adults but they are very SLOW growers. They are interesting though and handle the cold as well as koi.
