Hi new to the forum

Hi everyone,

My name is Aaron and I live in central Illinois. I am no stranger to ponds as i have taken care of several small 100 to 200 gallon ponds. This year though i have built 550 gallon pond ( and already i want a bigger one!) and I am looking forward to leaerning as much as i can as well as hopefully help others. My pond curently has 10 Butterfly and standard fin koi in it. Nothing over 6 inches at this time. I have submerged plants as well. I try and supply as much biofiltration as i can by using a main filter and a water fall with porous rocks and lava rock. I am still in the landscaping mode. Well that is a little about me. Glad to be here.

Welcome to the forum. I started with a 900 gallon puddle and now have a 5000 gallon puddle.
