Lisa look into a face SHIELD many states allow businesses that option and they are a heck of a lot less intrusive

Agree 100%. But suddenly states are mandating masks - I'm sure Illinois won't be far behind. But Walmart went nationwide with their requirement today.

And yes! I am checking to see if we can wear a shield as an alternative. I know our special ed teachers and specialists who work with hearing impaired and other special needs kids will be wearing them, so that's something I'm hoping will be allowed. Also offers the additional protection for the eyes, if we're worried about mucus membranes.

EVERYONE HAS BEEN TO A WALMART since this began

Not me, I don't even go before the this began. We have a super one 15 minutes from our house, maybe twice in the store in the last few years.

@GBBUDD - I believe she means a Super Walmart. The kind that carries groceries.

Well, our governor has filed a lawsuit so he can mandate masks in schools. We just have dueling lawsuits in Illinois at this point. I'm sure his lawsuit will get precedence over any of the others that have been held up due to Covid-19. The biggest issue I have with all of this going on in our state is that our legislature has STILL not been called back into session (except for one brief period of a day or two when they accomplished nothing, except to agree to the budget that guarantees their own raises). So we have one man who is making every single decision for every citizen of this state. Does that sound familiar? We have elected representatives who are being protected from being required to vote by our governor so their constituents can't see where they stand on all these very important issues. One man who has set himself up as The One to Rule Them All.

We have a Super Walmart, they're huge! Complete grocery store within, as well as all the other departments. I used to enjoy their buy online, pick up in store, so we did't have to pay for shipping. Not sure if they're still offering that service during the pandemic.

I like the show on tv called Superstore. It's pretty funny! I hardly ever darken Walmart's doors. Once in a Blue Moon.......................this reference will prolly get @TheFishGuy going again w/the moons
Sadly, they're the best option for shopping in my rural location. And... I've got to admit, that during this current Covid-19 ***sh-tuff***, they have been doing the very best job of sanitizing of any of the food stores in this area. I know this varies greatly, based on location, but I will definitely give major kudos to the Super Walmart in Wilkesboro, NC for their current policies & procedures.

They are doing a good job here also, we just don't shop there. My neighbor does and she is impressed with all they are doing.
I really wish I didn't have to. If I go to Food Lion, I can't get everything I need, grocery-wise, for my weekly dinner menus. If I go to Lowe's, I'm appalled at their lack of procedures to keep things clean (and I still can't get everything I need to make this week's dinners!) So, if I try to utilize the smaller, local grocery chains, I still end up having to also go to Walmart to get the rest of the stuff I need. If that's the case, I'm just going to go to ONE store, and.... dammitanyway! Walmart is the winner. Sigh... Or, I could drive an extra 15 minutes (so 45 rather than 30) and go up to Boone, where I would have additional choices. Honestly, I'd rather get in-out-done as close to home as possible. I hate this virus. I really do.

We usually do one stop shopping at costco. About every 8 weeks we make a run, other than that we stay out of stores.
