HOW LONG DOES THE "PL" SEALER HAVE TO SET.....

.... before you can do anything? I have my SKIPPY about 85-90% completed and used the PL stuff around the drains. The label says to wait a week before you paint it. Well, I'm obvously NOT going to paint anything :) Does it have to cure or anything?

I have had water up against mine within 1/2-1 hour and it has sealed fine. The skimmer I let it dry for maybe 2 hours since it was going to be under water, all was fine.

Most sealants like that really need 24 hours before using. 1-2 hours would probably be enough for a seal to form and in some cases would hold fine. But more pressure or stress I would allow a little more time if possible.
