how to build a pond and waterfall

hi all from ireland.monday evening .storted a little pondless waterfall to day :razz: littlepond :razz:

is the blue barrel the holding tank for the pump or did you take it out .I guess if you left it in you drilled holes in it .Was that an old building as I see what looked like a window and I know my parents well house was built like that .I guess we will get to see it running soon I hope

hi sissy ,yes the blue barrel has holes in for the pump,yes there was a old shed that we knocked to morning mini digger comming to morrow to put in the rocks :razz: littlepond :razz:

I love it as a back drop especially with that window .I figure if anyone can figure that out it would be you .Are the concrete walls going to be stoned over or left that way.I guess it would look fantastic either way .Can't wait to see the finished product .I see the hose going up that thing that looks almost like a waterfall thing ..Gosh you leave us guessing huh .LOL

Oh that is so awesome! I have to ask, though, did that rubber liner go on the stream part, or just in the hole at the bottom? I had to look at the pictures many times to figure out how you hid that block wall. You did a fabulous job. Looks like the water is coming out of no where, and going no where! I've never seen any thing like that around here. You bring such fresh ideas to this area. Maybe others have seen the pondless ponds, but I never have. Thanks for sharing! Keep up the good work, and look forward to seeing your next project.

hi ce yes the rubber liner is under the stream bed,the pondless can fit into a small space.so people have the sound of water flowing whitch i think is very nice.i am building another pondless waterfall next week so i will take more photos, bye from ireland :razz: littlepond :razz:
