Lots of work Sissy!

I dug up the dumb preform, saved all the snails, tads, rosey reds, fixed the two cracks, put it back in, all says level like it should be fill with water and the dumb thing is sloped the wrong way. Got to drain it and start over. But the leak fix worked.

Sissy, Looks like you been working even harder than normal, The wall is coming along very nicely, Like the look! Are you adding more filtration in that tub as well? I'm sure Aggie and Burt are watching with close eyes and giving you some pointers along the way. Hehehe

I figured with the oval tank I can keep my plants in it .Then where the waterfall is I am going to make small holding pool for more plants to help clean the water .Yeh aggie and bert have been a pain they all just sit at that end smacking there lips for food .Thanks for the encouragement ,I try to keep up with every thing here but getting harder and harder as the years go by .Addy never had luck leveling those preforms I even tried putting big flat rocks under the edge .Once the water goes in it sinks from the weight .I did try something that may work for you though .I put a bathroom carpet on the bottom of the pond after it got installed level and used concrete block to mimic the weight of water .I then wettened the soil around the out side of the pond to settle the earth under the preformed and concrete block in the pond made it heavy like it had water in it .You have spread the blocks out so all the weight is on the bottom .I also walkied around inside the edge of the pond .Addy did you see the pics of the stuff at ollies ,they have lners there that have that rock look to them ,not sure you have an ollies store.pond liners were really cheap .

Looks good what you are doing sissy and makes me tired looking at the photo's. I should be out working on mine too redoing some of the rocks around the edge that have settled but alas the cold/wet is keeping me away. Sure is green around here tho and the grass is growing. Never mowed it yet and all the neighbors already did theirs. We are trying to see if it will choke out some of the moss that grows so nicely here. .........at least that is our excuse for now

I .Addy never had luck leveling those preforms I even tried putting big flat rocks under the edge .Once the water goes in it sinks from the weight .I did try something that may work for you though .I put a bathroom carpet on the bottom of the pond after it got installed level and used concrete block to mimic the weight of water .I then wettened the soil around the out side of the pond to settle the earth under the preformed and concrete block in the pond made it heavy like it had water in it .You have spread the blocks out so all the weight is on the bottom .I also walkied around inside the edge of the pond .Addy did you see the pics of the stuff at ollies ,they have lners there that have that rock look to them ,not sure you have an ollies store.pond liners were really cheap .

yep sometimes men can hold you back .My husband can do less than he did before since his heart is to weak .I am afraid everything is left up to me now more than ever .I planted a bunch of bulbs today and tomorrow I have to buy concrete block to build around the take so I can pull the liner up around it so if tank or piping leaks it will run back into the pond .

well tonight got 2 more and earlier I caught one so now I have 5 of them in the stock tank and it is after 8 pm and they are singing away .They were the ones who caused the liner problem because when I pulled it up they had tunneled there way between the two liners and separated them from each other

They are in my small ponds, the only rosey red ponds, have never seen them doing the grab and hold in the large pond. Luckily they have not caused any pond issues except tons of eggs, tads that seem to balance out nicely the way nature does.

Sorry they are causing you issues Sissy, usually after all this mating is done I see them here and there in the yard eating bugs.

All of our frogs are singing, we are hitting 85-90 today, almost breaking record temps. then dropping back into the 60's

Yeh and I have to get the waterfall battened down ,they are saying an inch and half of rain here and maybe more .I have all that dirt I have to worry about washing into the pond .I was out there 6 am this morning and just came in for coffee and a rest .The rocks are getting heavier every day .The toads all seem happy ,they were singing last night in the stock tank .I have to take them away but they are supposed to service my heat pump today and not sure when they will get here .

Horny toads, lol and glad you got that title insurance on that house! You take it nice and slow on the work you are doing to the pond and it will pay off it the end instead of hurrying to get er done. It's a big job but you are getting there
