I have been watching the first bud for about a week, and to my surprise this morning, it had opened up. I guess I'm doing something right at last lol.

And this little guy, I was cutting grass, and I actually ran over him with the mower! But he ran out into the gras, so I picked him up and took him to the pond, I let him go and he just sit there looking at me. I went back to cutting grass, and when I got to the backyard he was gone, so I hope he was ok.

Very nice and love your little critter. I've seen 2 tan lizards on my walks in the past few days and had to move them off the road to the grass away from cars.

Thank you all. It really is nice seeing things settle and start to do what we have visioned. I hope Sissy stops by this thread because earlier today when I took the pics my water was still a bit murky. But I went out this evening to sit, and I about fell over when I seen the water. It is now clear as a bell by using the quilt batting filter. Now that things are looking on the upswing I'm getting nervous about the winter fouling everything up.
