well i got the water fall working but I'm having a big problem with keeping the sot scrubbers in place. i think i need to go to Lowes and get some sort of netting to make two bags out of. i have very green water and i know i need many more plants. so if anyone around Kansas would like to ship me some ill pay just PM me. Or even better ill pick them up from around Wichita.

If you can't find the bags, buy the replacement window screen netting use zip ties to make what ever size of bag you need.

I built my pond similar to yours as the inside has a layer of concrete block but the after the liner was in I filled the outside area with dirt and then retaining wall block but mine is just around 4 feet deep. This pic is looking down at it from my covered front porch

the screen you see is because I had a fish jump out and it is uv screening .Had some left from putting new screens in my patio doors .It was an easy fix that still let me see the fish .I sewed a pocket on 1 side with fishing wire and slid a pvc pipe in it and attached it to the bridge with pipe clamps

go to a dollar store and get laundry bags they work great and are cheap and just weigh them down a little with a flat rock on top

Jason those pot scrubbies are quite delightful in color. Reminds me of the balls they have in the MacDonalds jumping bin for kids.
Bet they will work good and when you get a bag they will stay where they are supposed to and life will be good, lol!

you know to weight down those scrubbies and make it look good you could get plastic lattice and cut it to fit in there tight and just weigh it down with some pretty rocks
