The quickest way would be to turn this koi over and take a photo og its vent area that way we'll know for sure what sex we have in this koi

How big is the koi?
Like Dave says look at its vent small male large female,
pectoral fins big male small female,
body shape streamlined male round in the mid riff female,
if the koi is around 12 months old and around 12 inch long feel its gill flaps and along its body (around may time) if it feels like sand paper it's male if smooth female

I'll see if I can catch it again and get better photos. It is a german scaled so it's body is smooth. It is a good 12" or more.

It will still feel like sand paper as the males ues this rough skin to stimulate the females to release their eggs,
mating is very rough koi can lose scales if there are a few males and the female is not strong in some cases death can occur due to fatigue the german scale less koi are called doitsu,
