my first big problem...

wondering what was planted in there that was causing such problems. Sounds like something to stay away from....

dont know what it is for sure... i posted a pic of it before, asking if anyone knew what it was. some said watercress. i disagree. but it grows in and out of the pond. as it hits the water it drops roots. spreads pretty quickly. has a kind of piney-minty smell. has purple round (ball) flowers. it is evidently invasive but easily controlled for the most part... but i never thought to disassemble my waterfall to check root growth. ... anyways heres a link to a thread on it....

KG - It does look like mint to me. I am assuming the second picture is showing the light on the surface of the leaves and the leaves are not striped. Correct?

I am just thinking it is something to stay away from - I appreciate the heads up.
