Well my Ultima 3000 and piping survived 3 degrees at 7:00 this morning. Only thing I wonder about is the sight glass for the backwash..... it looks like it’s froze solid

Pressure filter? Is it still running and does it have UV? If its frozen then the glass sleeve for the UV may be damaged.
Yeah..... UV is off, but it’s in the discharge line after the filter, so there is all the water flow going across it. I will will probably have to replace sight glass, but there is no flow in it except when backwashing or rinsing.

I know this weather is not the norm in your area. Pressure canister filters and UVs need to be brought in if there is any chance the can freeze. Hopefully this is a one time weather event.
