Mine runs inside the waterfall area and my filter is even inside a liner .Keeps me from having to worry about water leaking out any place or hoses getting stepped on and broken .I also use sump pump hose .The white pipe is a spitter in my waterfall to aerate

Thank you everyone:) I will be using the Tetrapond waterfall filter for the waterfall spillway and connect it to the non kink tubing.

@sissy, may I know why there's a need to aerate the waterfall?

helps the plants in the waterfall pond area and I read lots on over aerating a pond that it helps keep the water clear and i feel it is very true .I have almost always over aerated my pond .I have one of those under my bridge also but it is done with a ball valve .I have been doing this since i found out about it and have never had string algae yet and only the tiniest bit of green water which was expected since i rebuilt the pond last year after moles chewed through my liner

I agree with Mmathis. You have to work with what you've got. Personally, I covered mine with rocks, but you could bury it, buy a cover or go with sissy's idea. Good luck!
