Wow that was quick and very nicely done
I'm w/ your wife on the swimming pool. I don't have one but would love one and I don't want to swim in fish poo or w/snakes that I can't see in a koi pond :D

Thanks everyone! Now i just have to wiat for the pond to cycle...and then i will add a few fish. My wife seems to like Shubunkins, but i'd like to get a koi or two. Anyone know which are more hardy for a zone 6 area? oh...and we're geting turtles too:rolleyes:

Koi are koi, all will be equally hardy, However if your going to have plants such as lilies in the pond you might want to consider butterfly koi instead fo standard koi, longer fins but the same colors are available in both. Butterfly koi don't seem to dig as bad as standard koi InMyOpinion. I'm very fond of shubunkins and sarrasa comets but I want one of the new yellow forms of comets too.
