Outside is almost complete, a few more small changes then caulk and paint. Still have a few more sheets of plywood to get and hang and I can start trying to plumb all the filtration together.

Back to work on the filter room/Greenhouse. Got the inside painted and the floor sealed with non skid paint and sealer, Then Finished most of the outside while the weather is good and still waiting on one connection to get the filter plumbed. Plan on Mocking up the plumbing for the final positioning tomorrow. Still have to trim the windows inside and close up a few more areas. also had a visitor that watched as I worked today. Usually they don't let me get close enough for a pic but this one was quite bold and must have known the only thing I could shoot him with was the camera. LOL

A few pics of the filtration unit in the new filter room. Just got everything hooked up and ran the first test run through the system Monday. Had to fix a few leaks and tighten down some unions but other than that everything else went pretty smooth. This is a Deep Water Koi Innovations Zakki Shower, MC-50 Suction pressure Sieve, run of a 1/3 hp Artesian pro II pump and 20 micron vortex filter. Will be adding a 110 watt Evo UUv light before next spring to help manage green water since the pond sits out iin the sun.

Time for some new updates. We hosted the Southeastern Louisiana Aquarium Society meeting today. Everything was in top notch for the weekend so took some updated pics before winter, The new drain stream is almost done. Now all water drained from the pond will catch any babies that might make it through the systems so none get lose into the wild. The New Kujaku came out of QT today, and the lilies in the small goat pond are really putting on a show.

Silkie rooster, Silver laced Wyandotte, Americana, Dominique, Rhode Island red, Copper laced Serama, English Bantam, Langshank so I quess 8 types. LOL never counted the types, Just new we had a total of 20 birds, have to count them in the evening to make sure they all make it to the safety of the coop at night.

Nice pics of all your babies! The goat families are really growing and they're just so cute! The poor pups look a little sad, though.... Too much competition? And that black chicken (rooster or hen?) is gorgeous -- he looks like one of my cats!

Man O Man Larkin you have come a long way. I remember way back when you were dreaming about all this farm living and giant koi ponds and now look at you. You have everything you ever wanted in this new place of yours. Congrats on living your dream. And where the heck you been for so long. We missed ya :)
