new pond pics

These are some of my new pond pics.Not done yet,still somethings to touch up.All the filters and electrical boxes will be boxed in and new curbing will go around the outside edgeThe first pic is before the new pond

oh gosh! those fish are truly going to appreciate their new and roomier digs. You can definitely see that they were way to large for that itty bitty pre-formed pond. It's a great example of why koi do not belong in small places!

Bravo on your new pond.

It looks good !!
a bigger pond is a lot easier to take care of then a small one

update 2 months after the build we had a really heavy rainstorm here in florida.A couple of the sides caved in.So we came up with a different idea.After digging and sweating in 101 temps we built walls out of pressure treated wood and reinforced the pond here are some pics so far

Wow sorry to hear that, the soil in florida is pretty sandy, maybe that is why it collapsed.

Glad you were able to get it back up and running, looks like the wood will do the job.

How are your fish?
