new pond set up question

I know this is a boring question and probably been answered 1000 times but , i am really pleased with my set up of my new pond and has been running just over 2 weeks, the water is beautifully clear but there is a slight greenage appearing on the bottom and sides of the pond, can this be avoided or is it a natural progression for a pond

its normal; sounds like string alge or blanket weed neither will hurt anything just manually clean when it gets excessive.. feeds on the nutrients that might other wise give you green water... a few plants will help.
