We were sitting on the beach, a paint a brown pony came up the from the north end. By the ears the paint was not in a good mood.

Very concerned for the little kids in the water and parents that did not seem to pick up on the attitude of the ponies. Luckily nobody was hurt even after they romped though the crowd.

I was trying to get up, had Missy in my lap, leash wrapped around my legs.............

The two of them run within one foot of us, we were in our sun shelter, they went around it, instead of through.

they are not mad the male is after the female .What a sex education that would have been for the kiddies .I see that here all the time with Marty's horse .When the want a female they want a female .

I didn't think that many people hung out on Assateague beaches.

They are wild ponies on Assateague Island in Maryland.

There is a state side, camping etc and a national side,, camping etc, we go to the national side so we can have our pup on the beach. I have been going there since I was tiny with my parents. The camping was a lot more rustic, at this time there are chemical type out houses, drinkable running water in a few places. They offer rv camping and tent camping. The horses go where they want to go.

True but the male went after a few people and the female did not want anybody near her. A lot of people think they can walk up and pet these ponies, most won't tolerate it.
