Hi guys,i have just moved house to find the new place has a pond
trouble is its proper minging soi cleaned it all out to discover a few goldfish still alive in the sludge !
after a while naturally the water goes green again so can anyone suggest a good pond pump and filter to use ?
I take it a UV light is best too ?
Any help would be great :regular_waving_emot

Didn't quite understand what proper minging soi is? And how many gallons is your little pond? Looks like you could get a small filter in there of some sort. Not sure what they make for that small of a pond but someone here will know

Welcome aboard, I'm not sure what to suggest as far as a filter for that size pond, hard to rell how big it is what the fish load is etc. Pump you want to circulate the pond 1-2 times per hour, so if the pond is 200 gallons you want a pump the will pump between 200 and 400 gallons an hour. UV light might not be a bad idea, If you decide to get one a tetra 9wt UV will be plent for that size pond and they are good UV lights and not expensive to run at all.

I would look into a 32 gallon brute trash can filter and make a small water fall to go to the pond to help get oxygen in the water. Plus that size filter will be plenty for that pond

cute little pond! Good luck, a filter will help it.
