I'm amazed the cold hasnt frassled it but I must admit its pretty (might be an idea to put this photo in for the competition next fall Maggie its a winner

And the Lily hasn't had any leaves for several weeks.... Yes, I was surprised, and I LOVE it :). (and now I get to skim those oak leaves off the surface)

Oak leaves can be toxic also .I just saw a show about oak and maple leaves in ponds and did not know how toxic they can be and they even said they can be harmful to swimming pool water .This guy is building a natural swimming pond ,interesting show so I am taping it
