The waterfall looks fine to me. Personally I would either leave it as is or just try larger tubing.

When I bought the pump I more or less used the gallons of the pond to determine the size. I really did not know about the flow for the with of the waterfall part. I saw all good reviews on the laguana pumps so I went there. I never saw that flow/head chart originally. I know about the subject but never would have guessed at that much reduction for 2' of head.
So I'm open to a bigger pump, any suggestions on a brand and size? The laguanas are a bit pricey.
