DoDad just clued me in on a new series 4000 Sequence pump that was just released. He's getting prices on them any day. I was really impressed with the reduced wattage. That's becoming an important issue. I'm looking at a pump that is 1/3 stronger than my old Little Giant, and it uses about 2/5 the electricity!

The specs are HERE

YES! the Sequence are fabulous! I have one and have zero complaints.

DoDad, what's new about the 4000? I'll probably need to get one for the new pond I'm trying to put together if I ever find the time (and money!).

The 4000 replaced the 1000 series and has a 3 year warranty instead of 3.
They also have a extra pump to broaden the flow rates.

I had one complaint and that was from me.:fish:
I had one fail after 7 years of running 24/7/365.
The other one is still running after 7 years.

You'll have to PM him for that.

I don't yet know what my new pond will net out at in GPH. I'm thinking around 5,000 gals, but when I'm sure I'll PM you for a price on one of these.

The sequence pumps have a very good rep in the saltwater aquarium world. Good, long lasting performance, very efficient in terms of power usage, and good customer service.
