Dismantled my old waterfall this week, and building a new one. Took out the old Skippy Filter, which was not working and am going to install a new idea from Koilady. Everything is going well. Hope to have the new filter up and running by tomorrow. Now to put the waterfall back the way I want it.

Though the Skippy is one of my least favorite filters, it maybe just your Skippy needs to be cleaned. It isn't really a mech filter but it could function as one when half clogged up. Did your Skippy have a bottom drain?
